CARRTEL provides courses and supervises students (Bachelor, Masters and PhD) at Savoie Mont Blanc University, on two sites near perialpine lakes: 1) Savoie Technolac, providing continuous courses & internships, and 2) Thonon station, providing internships, courses, field & lab experiments.

• Master in Environmental Sciences Applied to Mountains (SEAM)

The SEAM master is awarded with the mention "Agrosciences, environment, territories, landscape, forest". It is a scientific and technical master intended for the training of specialists in mountain environments. The first year of this Master aims at acquiring the basics in environmental sciences. It therefore includes training on the compartments (water, rock, soil, living), in ecology, geosciences and geography, as well as the tools (GIS, statistics, English) which are key for the study and management of the environment. It also includes a first professional training course. Two courses are possible in the second year of the master:

1. SEAM-EPGM Course.

This course aims at immediate professional integration in the fields of equipment, planning, management and protection of natural environments, specifically in mountain environments. This Master Degree combines scientific, technical and legal-economic competences in these fields.

2. SEAM-ECOMONT Course.

This course is oriented towards academic and non-academic research. Focus is brought mainly on the fields of mountain environment ecology.
